Join us as we embark on a journey through the evolution of artificial intelligence. This session will explore the early beginning of the field, tracing its developing through to the present day and analyzing the set of circumstances that allowed it to evolve and progress so rapidly in recent years, and we cannot forget the critical role that data plays at the center of this hype, acting as the fuel that gives power to make it all possible today. This session is designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge needed to take your first steps with AI, to become more comfortable with the topic and consider its impact on both business and society as a whole.

Speaker: Christina Stathopoulos
Christina Stathopoulos is a thought leader in the data world, participating regularly as an international speaker and educator in the field. She has developed an advanced analytics career in tech. Most recently, after more than 5 years at Google and Waze where she led analytical studies and strategy in partnership with some of their largest advertisers, she branched off on her own as a data evangelist to launch her own company. Outside of her corporate work, Christina is an Academic Director and Adjunct Professor at IE Business School, leading programs and courses around harnessing the power of data for business. She is also an instructor for LinkedIn Learning and a podcast host for EM360. She shares daily content to her large following on LinkedIn, where you can also connect with her to get inspired by the latest in data careers, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, women in STEM, and more.
