Learn the basics of Urban Fruit Tree Care from Cristian Gilces, a local NYC Urban Agriculturalist
Join us and learn the basics on growing fruit trees: fertilization, pollination, pruning, best species for growing in containers versus in the ground, and other general maintenance needs. Attendees will also get an inside look at the only school in the country that is able to house and care for Survivor Trees from 9/11 in New York City. This workshop is presented by Cristian Gilces, a senior in the agriculture program at John Bowne High School, an Urban Agriculturalist, past GrowNYC presenter on houseplant care and the founder of CluckCluckMooMoo.
Zoom link will be emailed to attendees before the workshop.
