The SEI hosts this annual Workshop for Educators to foster an ongoing exchange of ideas among educators whose curricula include subjects spanning software engineering. The event is free of charge and open to any accredited college-level educator.

This three-day workshop features two days of training on software engineering topics and an interactive educator-led session. The workshop will provide live streaming of these sessions to promote an inclusive workshop and reach out to the broader software engineering educator community. For those coming in person, we will conduct the traditional artifact sharing and discussion that has characterized this workshop throughout the years.

All first-time registrants will have to submit a letter from their department chair or dean stating that they are an active instructor in software engineering, computer science, or a related field. Registrations will not be considered complete until this letter has been submitted to “info@sei.cmu.edu” with the subject line, “Software Engineering Educators Workshop – Letter of Employment.”
