WOMENinSTEM@IC and WE Innovate are delighted to announce an upcoming collaborative panel discussion on female entrepreneurship, to be held on Thursday November 11th, at 5:30 pm.

We have a series of incredible female panellists lined up, who have all transitioned from a STEM career into entrepreneurship. This will be an amazing opportunity to network with STEM entrepreneurs, learn about their journeys and advice, and also gain an insight into the WE Innovate, a pre-accelerator programme designed to increase the number of women in leadership positions, running startups and raising funding.

On the panel, we are delighted to host Dr Chiara Heide, founder of WOMENinSTEM@IC, recent PhD in Chemical Engineering graduate, and CEO of femtech start-up BrightCure. Chiara is an alumni of many entrepreneurship programmes at Imperial and past winner of the White City Innovator’s Programme.

We are also delighted to announce Dr Heidi Gardner as another panellist, who is a Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen and also the CEO of Little Science co., a small business specialising in empowering and diversity-promoting STEM enamel pins and stationary.
